Born in Cuneo in 1968, he is an enthusiast of mountain and nature. He devoted himself to ornithology and birdwatching cooperating to many national and international research projects and to scientific publications. Recently the interest in Odonata has become the main summer occupation in his leisure time. He is collecting data for the European and the Italian Dragonfly Atlas. With Paolo he is collecting data for the scheduled “Atlante degli Odonati della provincia di Cuneo” (Atlas of the Cuneo region Odonata).

Grown in Cuneo, born in 1977, a university degree in Environmental and Forestry Sciences. He is journalist and author of hiking, mountaineering and ski touring guides. He is an enthusiast of mountain in all its aspects. Animals have always interested him and recently he developed a great interest in local avifaune and odonatofaune studies. He is working with Massimo in the sphere of the dragonflies carrying out with him some researches about Odonata.
